Getting some mid-winter energy out at the 3 Mile Project.
Had to say goodbye to the tree that lost its limb on our garage roof.
Progress
Henry did his Mystery Guest project on Frank Lloyd Wright.
Henry's teacher knows him well!
He did an absolutely wonderful job studying and
presenting about this famous architect.
3 Months Old
A Spring Break walk in the woods.
Claire spent a week working behind the scenes at the zoo.
She spent much of her time studying Red Pandas.
It was sweet to see Claire console her friend
who had dropped her pencil in the exhibit.
Must have worked hard at school. He didn't
even have the strength to take his backpack off.
We took a weekend road trip to Ann Arbor to visit friends, Sam and Hannah. Sam was being ordained, and we wouldn't have missed it for the world.
While out that way, we decided to spend a day at the Detroit Zoo.
We wanted to take advantage of the reciprocal zoo memberships we have before our John Ball Zoo membership expires. And bonus - the zoo is about 5 minutes away from my cousin, so we were also able to visit with her for a short bit.
Of course, we had to see the Red Panda exhibit!
With an infant on the trip, I figured we'd spend the evening in our hotel room. We went with the jacuzzi room so the kids would have something fun to occupy themselves with. I would say my days are numbered where I'm going to get all three kids in one tub!
We really liked the playgrounds that we found in Ann Arbor!
What a fun little weekend.
The zoo was fabulous; the parks were wonderful. We found Ann Arbor to be a wonderful city. We look forward to visiting our friends out there again!
