Picture Round-Up Part 2
Just a few more pictures from the past couple weeks.
Claire spent a week at Spring Hill Day Camp. She loved it, but was pretty tuckered out by the end of the week. And I was ready to have her home again!
Her counselors gave her the "Prayer Warrior" award for volunteering to pray before every meal. That's my girl!
Love those big blue eyes!
Joe had a "Bring your Kids to Work" day.
The boys were ready to spend some time "working" with Daddy.
He has all kinds of fun at his work.
Even visits from Crash, the Whitecaps mascot.
I'm pretty sure Henry thinks that Joe spends his
work day coloring and playing with trucks.
We went to visit some friends and their newborn baby, which made George look so big. Growing up too fast! I don't know where the time has gone.

Picture Round-Up
A lot going on around our house lately.
Plenty of pictures, but I'll try to keep it brief.
Claire was finally sick of her loose tooth and asked Joe to pull it out.
He did so, but then she dropped it in the carpet. She searched a good half hour before finding it again.
A message for the Tooth Fairy
Claire's Tooth Pillow.
And now she's working on her second loose tooth!
Fun with Sparklers
A Garden Party at our Church's Community Garden
Joe made dinner...and it's happy to see me!
George's 2 month check-up went well.
He weighed in at 13# 4 oz, putting him in the 75th percentile for weight.
And he was in the 88th percentile for height.
Wait...what season is it?
Working together at Africa's Child. It's a family affair.
Claire started Tae Kwon Do lessons, but wasn't too excited for her first day.
This is her before picture.
But this is her after picture.
During her first break, she ran up to me and said that she changed her mind. She does like it. She was all smiles the whole time. I doubt she'll be the next Karate Kid, but she sure is cute!
Well, I actually have more pictures, but I think I'll wait till the end of the week to post the rest of them. So many fun things to do!

"Super Kids"
Every so often I go through a princess purge in our home, ridding our toy closet of everything princess. I love the fact that Claire is a girly girl, but I want her to be well-rounded, not focusing too much on being pretty, but more on her character. I know it's a lot to ask of a 5-year-old, so today we had a princess party. We relished in all things princess. Claire received this hand-me-down Snow White dress from her cousin, and we spent the day making accessories, including bows, shoes, and a matching red cape.
Once Claire had her Snow White cape,
of course Henry needed a Superhero cape too.
And you know that once Henry had his Superhero cape,
George was crying for one too.

A Hodge Podge Post
Here's a bunch of randomness from this past month.
Our small church is having a baby boom!
There was also another baby born recently and four more on the way. Four years ago there were only 2 children in the whole church. Now we're having to expand the nursery and there are at least a dozen kids in the children's program. Amazing!
George dressed for his first Independence Day.
Our All-American boy celebrating with an all-American burger.
Claire checking out her first loose tooth!
Lounging in George's bouncy seat.
Life is good.
Claire's Vacation Bible School concert.
Her friend Caleb to the right of her. They had a great week!
Claire with her VBS teacher, Miss Kelsey.
Looking good, George!
Claire's flare for fashion has now extended to dressing her brother.
The following videos were taken at my brother's house.
They gave us a good laugh as it offers an honest look into our lives.

Out to the Ball Game
Tonight we went as a family to see a Whitecaps game at Fifth Third Ballpark. Joe's work has a suite that we were able to use with some of his coworkers. I tell ya, it was pretty great! We felt spoiled with our VIP parking and yummy food, not to mention great seats.
The kids were in their glory!
Cheering on the team from the balcony.
Super excited to visit with Roxy in the suite.
It was so much fun to see the kids getting into the game.
Definitely a highlight of our summer!
