March Round-Up

Henry invades Daddy's nap time.

Who doesn't love an over-sized smiley-faced sprinkle doughnut?

Big enough to feed our whole family (minus one baby, of course)

Dressed in green for St. Patrick's day.

Celebrating Joe's 33rd Birthday!

This year I asked the kids what they wanted to give Daddy for his birthday, and they had some wonderful suggestions.
Henry's first thought was cheese.  Probably because that's his own favorite food, but also because he knows that Daddy eats a turkey and cheese sandwich every day for lunch.
While I thought this was a fine idea, I pushed Henry for a second suggestion. He thought for a moment and said confidently, "spinach!".  Because, of course, Daddy loves spinach on his sandwiches.  How could I resist such logic?

Joe loved his very practical gift.

Claire's gift was homemade brownies.
She also picked out some fun new shoelaces for his
running shoes so he could think of her while he runs.

A wonderful day celebrating Joe's life.

Claire is getting comfortable behind the camera.

Proud to have conquered his crib during nap time.

Then look who comes along to once again invade nap time.
George made his displeasure known.

Claire's 1st Selfie.
If you're ever having a bad day, just look at this picture.
Makes me smile every time.

Speaking of bad days...
The stomach bug has hit each of our kids this past week.
George was hit the worst, though I think this homemade pedialyte helped.
Hopefully, we're on the up and up.  Brighter days ahead.
